Do you have a sense of gender-- whether its your, day wear gender or your night life magic gender-- that isn't explained in terms of male or female? How do you think of it? How do you describe it? Does this relate to a sense of being something other than your current body even beyond a sense of gender, and possibly species? How do you frame this in your workings, and what is your personal narrative relating to this, whether in terms of concrete tangible things in your mundane life or through non tangible beliefs of your own history?
I use belief not to suggest non-fact, but because it is the most succinct way I can think of to put it in this moment.
I ask because I feel related to these questions, but don't yet have answers. Whether I end up in spaces that could be described as "kin" etc or not, all ideas are welcome here, and I don't intend for anything to be competing with the trans identity for legitimacy or anything like that. I'm willing to accept whatever you bring to the table, and I hope that others can at least leave their opinions about such legitimacy outside.

the whole like... power of being a trans occultist comes from the ability to see from different POVs, which is why there's so much centered around the transformation itself (from man to woman, from woman to man, from something to something else). IMO as a trans person you never really fully become the "average, normal y" thing that you are transitioning towards, you always exist in a kind of liminal space, the ability to see from outside of the standard binary, the ability to reveal things not obvious when you've situated yourself neatly within a system of power.
anyway that's where my power of sight comes from, at least. that's why i'm holy, cuz i'm different and maybe a little weird and outside of the norm (and so people gotta respect that or get outta my way!!).
